What we collect

When you request a report, submit a lead form, or use the client portal, we collect what you give us: your name, email address, phone number if provided, your organization, and information about your building such as its address, type, size, and the utility bills or energy data you choose to share. The free Self Audit runs in your browser; its results are sent to us only if you choose to request a report.

How we use it

We use this information to prepare your energy analysis, respond to your request, deliver reports through the client portal, and follow up about the services you asked about. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Who else handles it

We rely on a small number of service providers to run the website and deliver our work: web hosting and content delivery, a database for engagement records, transactional email delivery for notifications and report delivery, and payment processing for paid reports (card details are handled by the payment processor and never reach our systems). These providers process data only on our behalf. If you reached us through a partner program, such as a Chamber of Commerce member benefit, we may report aggregate participation to that partner without identifying you unless you ask us to.

Cookies and browser storage

The site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. The client portal stores your client number and your Self Audit entries in your browser's local storage so you can return to them; clearing your browser data removes them.

Retention and your choices

We keep engagement records for as long as needed to support your project and our obligations, and lead inquiries for a reasonable period afterward. You may ask us at any time to correct or delete your information, or to stop contacting you, by emailing info@aurainsightenergy.com.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and the effective date above.
